The Department of Home Affairs is inviting unemployed South African youth with Grade 12 to apply for its Cadet Learnership Programme 2026/2027.

Who Can Apply?

The main education requirement is a National Senior Certificate (Matric) or an NQF Level 4 equivalent qualification.

Do You Need Certified Documents Now?
The circular says shortlisted candidates will later be required to provide a copy of their ID and Grade 12 certificate.
Applicants with foreign qualifications will need the relevant SAQA evaluation. Successful candidates will also undergo pre-employment screening and security checks.
