Job Purpose

The successful candidate will conduct Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) inspections to ensure employers comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) and other relevant labour legislation.

The role also involves investigating workplace incidents and complaints, promoting awareness of labour laws, and supporting the Department’s mission of creating safe and healthy working environments.


Minimum Requirements

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • A recognised three-year qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • A valid South African driver’s licence
  • Registration with a recognised professional body will be an added advantage but is not compulsory.
